We don't give massages. We help you find the person who does.

BodyWorkWorldMassage is a directory. That distinction matters more than anything else on this page so we’d rather lead with it than bury it.

The problem

Good bodywork is hard to find for no good reason

The skill is not the bottleneck. There are excellent, licensed, deeply experienced massage and bodywork professionals working in almost every community in the country. The bottleneck is finding them.

Most of them work for themselves. That independence is the whole point of the profession and it’s also why their information lives in a dozen scattered places: a social profile that hasn’t been touched in a year, a booking link shared privately, a phone number on a business card, a listing on a site that stopped being maintained in 2019.

The result is a market where clients give up after three dead ends, and professionals never learn about the clients who tried.

For clients

Searching is the hard part. The session was never the hard part.

For providers

Being excellent is not the same as being findable.

The problem

Drawing the line clearly

We get asked this constantly, so here it is in plain terms.

What we are

What we are not

How the directory works

The listing belongs to the professional

We don’t write profiles on anyone’s behalf, and we don’t scrape them from elsewhere. Every word on a listing was put there by the person who does the work.

Self-authored, always

Services, session lengths, pricing, and bios are entered by the professional. If something changes in their practice, they change it no ticket, no delay, no middleman rewriting their words.

Licensed practitioners only

Listings are for practising, licensed massage and bodywork professionals. Anything outside that scope has no place in the directory and is removed.

Location is the spine

Every listing carries a home base and, optionally, wider service areas so a professional is discoverable at the level of their own neighbourhood and at the level of their state.

No pay-to-win placement

Relevance to your search decides what you see. Nobody buys their way to the top of a results page ahead of a better match.

Where we're going

Built in phases, on purpose

Nothing here gets rebuilt later. Each phase extends the last.

I

Search & discovery

Nationwide search by service, provider, and location. State and priority-market browsing with clickable local areas.

II

Provider profiles

Self-managed listings with photos, services, pricing, availability, and per-city travel schedules.

III

Direct booking

Session booking end to end, including for travelling providers on the dates they publish.

IV

Deeper coverage

City and local-area pages expanding state by state until every market has real depth behind it.

Who this is for

Two people we think about constantly

The person in pain at 9pm on a Tuesday

Who needs to know, right now, who is genuinely available nearby and what a session with them will actually involve without four phone calls and a week of waiting.

The therapist with a gap in Thursday's diary

Who is very good at their work and has no interest in becoming a marketer and who should be found by the people already searching for exactly what they do.
